Power

Power is something that everyone strives to obtain at some point in their life. Power can be the driving point behind people’s actions. Power to me means control over people or situations. I feel like power and control go hand and hand in most situations. Take the president for example or any type of leadership. People like that have such a huge impact on how people think and do things because of the power those people hold. People crave power. When there is someone in power that maybe you don’t like, you will crave it even more so you can correct their mistakes or even prove a point. I feel like power is so hard to come by in today's age because there is such limited space for people in power. There is a saying that goes “knowledge is power” and I agree with that in some aspects. Knowledge can be power when you hold the answer to something or know more than others in the room. But just like anything else, power can be very dangerous. Power can consume someone if not used appropriately. That is when people abuse their power. If you get ahold of power, do not waste it and do not abuse it.
